Job Function
Ensure inventory is properly received, stored, and distributed to district facilities. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, this person should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Facility Services Coordinator.
• Strategically manage warehouse operations including organizing, shipping/receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials/products in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Consults with customers and/or other departments, as needed, on products, materials, or orders to provide timely and accurate information.
• Oversees inventory reporting, reconciliation, and control functions to ensure accurate records of materials and products received into and distributed from the warehouse.
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Screens all District receipts for controlled items/capital outlay requests. Using established guidelines, annotates manufacturer’s serial numbers or applies District bar code labels in predetermined locations.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
• Serve as a communication liaison between company leadership, clients, vendors, and warehouse associates.
• Moves inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and handcart.
• Manage stock, ensure efficient space utilization in warehouse, reconcile with data storage system.
• Develops and recommends procedures for orderly replacement of existing movable equipment as it becomes obsolete or deteriorates. Recommends remedial action for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
• Receive and manage quality control of Walmart Donation along with Marketing Department
• Help coordinating fleet management tasks.
• Work in conjunction with the Academic Coordinator to distribute educational materials throughout the district.

Tools/Equipment Used: Forklifts, pallet jacks, and standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding, and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (50 pounds)
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL endorsement preferred.
• At least five years’ experience in warehouse management, logistics, and/or a related role.
